About Alias Estates
The history of Alias (Estates) goes back to about July 2007, when the Alias region was created. Originally it started out as a cooperation between Dixie Barbosa and another person from the Netherlands. The original name was Dutch Paradise. Both residents owned half of the region and both did their own thing. This was a very good cooperation and on his half, Dixie started Alias Art World, an art centre with various galleries and exhibitions. A few months later, Dixie bought up the other half of the region too and became sole owner of the region, which was then renamed to Alias.
Timeline of Alias:
July 2007: creation of Dutch Paradise, owned by 2 people
August 2007: official opening of Alias Art World
September 2007: Dixie Barbosa gets ownership of whole region; renamed to Alias
December 2007: Alias Art World closes; region is transformed to parcels for rent
January 2008: 2nd region Alias Dreams was aquired, same theme as Alias
April 2008: new cooperation with Perfect Estates and Cedarwood region owner
May 2008: Alias Dreams region broken up into 4 Openspace sims; transferred to Perfect Estates
July 2008: start of selling parcels on Alias (instead of renting)
September 2008: all parcels on Alias occupied (for the first time). There are now 7 land owners and 4 renters.
December 18, 2008: The sim Alias has been sold to Schumann Ltd Landholdings and will fall under new management starting int he first week of 2009.
